Maritime Affairs is a biannual journal containing well-researched and informative articles on issues related to the sea. Each issue presents studies and research material from across the globe on issues contextual to oceanic activity like shipbuilding, maritime security, port modernisation, disaster management, laws of the sea, etc. Maritime Affairs aims to promote awareness and informed public debate on how important the oceans are and provide constructive inputs for policy formulation. It includes studies on international relations and geo-political factors of strategic importance so as to suggest confidence-building measures for enhancing maritime cooperation amongst the sea faring nations for achieving a stable security environment in South Asia and Asia Pacific.
