Indian Diaspora, Southeast Asia and Southwest Pacific.
Current Project: 
The conceptual and application aspects of India’s Diaspora Policy; ethnic relations and the position of Indian Diaspora especially in the Southeast Asian and Southwest Pacific region; role of Diaspora in bridging relations, the internal challenges faced by the Diasporic community in the host countries, such as ethnic and social conflicts, religious extremism, multicultural and affirmative action policies.
Education : 
PhD from Southeast Asian and Southwest Pacific Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Experience : 
He was a visiting Research Scholar at the Yayasan Strategik Sosial (YSS), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also taught Political Science to the undergraduate students of the Zakir Husain Delhi College and Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi.
